ACLU Comment on Supreme Court Fisher Ruling

In a 4-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court today upheld the race-conscious admissions program at the University of Texas at Austin. The ruling means the school will be able to continue using race as one of multiple factors in admissions decisions. The American Civil Liberties Union filed an amicus brief in this case.

Dennis Parker, director of the ACLU's Racial Justice Program, had this reaction:

WASHINGTON
