Contrary to the bank's claim of climate leadership, its pledge to reduce emissions intensity is fully compatible with a "massive expansion of fossil fuels," said one campaigner.

"The use of tear gas and rubber bullets will never be enough to silence our voices or diminish our duty to demand an end to police violence against Black communities," said one organizer.

"Write, call, email," urged the Democratic leader, who said President Joe Biden is "more open" to the proposal than ever before.

The former labor organizer is running to represent Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional District.

"We are at a tipping point for abortion rights nationwide," warned president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

"As a parent, I should be able to buy a product without expecting to poison my child," said the national coordinator for Campaign for Healthier Solutions.

"No case in Texas has ever permitted the use of the state's murder law to address abortion or pregnancy loss," said one advocacy group.
