Jews and Palestinians Escalate General Strike Across Midtown NYC

New York, NY -

From the Israeli Mission at the UN, to the offices of Senator Schumer, AIPAC and Friends of the IDF, Jews, Palestinians and allies will interrupt daily business in response to the call by Palestinians for a general strike worldwide.

What: Escalating the demand by Palestinians for a General Strike in solidarity with Palestinians facing continued violence by the Israeli government, military and settler groups, New York Jews, Palestinians and friends will march in protest of organizations and individuals who support the violence by the Israeli government. 

Who: Jewish Voice for Peace-NYC and the New York for Palestine Coalition, in alliance with dozens of NYC Palestinian groups and supporters


STARTING at the Israeli Mission at the UN at 1pm, the demonstration will interrupt daily business at:

  • The offices of Senator Schumer
  • Friends of the IDF

CONCLUDING at Golda Meir square, which demonstrators will symbolically rename in support of Palestinian liberation.
