Blackwater Founder Implicated in Murder
In their testimony, both men also allege that Blackwater was smuggling weapons into Iraq. One of the men alleges that Prince turned a profit by transporting "illegal" or "unlawful" weapons into the country on Prince's private planes. They also charge that Prince and other Blackwater executives destroyed incriminating videos, emails and other documents and have intentionally deceived the US State Department and other federal agencies. The identities of the two individuals were sealed out of concerns for their safety.
Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater Worldwide is seen at Blackwater's offices in Moyock, N.C., July 21, 2008. These allegations, and a series of other charges, are contained in sworn affidavits, given under penalty of perjury, filed late at night on August 3 in the Eastern District of Virginia as part of a seventy-page motion by lawyers for Iraqi civilians suing Blackwater for alleged war crimes and other misconduct. Susan Burke, a private attorney working in conjunction with the Center for Constitutional Rights, is suing Blackwater in five separate civil cases filed in the Washington, DC, area. They were recently consolidated before Judge T.S. Ellis III of the Eastern District of Virginia for pretrial motions. Burke filed the August 3 motion in response to Blackwater's motion to dismiss the case. Blackwater asserts that Prince and the company are innocent of any wrongdoing and that they were professionally performing their duties on behalf of their employer, the US State Department.
The former employee, identified in the court documents as "John Doe #2," is a former member of Blackwater's management team, according to a source close to the case. Doe #2 alleges in a sworn declaration that, based on information provided to him by former colleagues, "it appears that Mr. Prince and his employees murdered, or had murdered, one or more persons who have provided information, or who were planning to provide information, to the federal authorities about the ongoing criminal conduct." John Doe #2 says he worked at Blackwater for four years; his identity is concealed in the sworn declaration because he "fear[s] violence against me in retaliation for submitting this Declaration." He also alleges, "On several occasions after my departure from Mr. Prince's employ, Mr. Prince's management has personally threatened me with death and violence."
In a separate sworn statement, the former US marine who worked for Blackwater in Iraq alleges that he has "learned from my Blackwater colleagues and former colleagues that one or more persons who have provided information, or who were planning to provide information about Erik Prince and Blackwater have been killed in suspicious circumstances." Identified as "John Doe #1," he says he "joined Blackwater and deployed to Iraq to guard State Department and other American government personnel." It is not clear if Doe #1 is still working with the company as he states he is "scheduled to deploy in the immediate future to Iraq." Like Doe #2, he states that he fears "violence" against him for "submitting this Declaration." No further details on the alleged murder(s) are provided.
"Mr. Prince feared, and continues to fear, that the federal authorities will detect and prosecute his various criminal deeds," states Doe #2. "On more than one occasion, Mr. Prince and his top managers gave orders to destroy emails and other documents. Many incriminating videotapes, documents and emails have been shredded and destroyed."
The Nation cannot independently verify the identities of the two individuals, their roles at Blackwater or what motivated them to provide sworn testimony in these civil cases. Both individuals state that they have previously cooperated with federal prosecutors conducting a criminal inquiry into Blackwater.
"It's a pending investigation, so we cannot comment on any matters in front of a Grand Jury or if a Grand Jury even exists on these matters," John Roth, the spokesperson for the US Attorney's office in the District of Columbia, told The Nation. "It would be a crime if we did that." Asked specifically about whether there is a criminal investigation into Prince regarding the murder allegations and other charges, Roth said: "We would not be able to comment on what we are or are not doing in regards to any possible investigation involving an uncharged individual."
The Nation repeatedly attempted to contact spokespeople for Prince or his companies at numerous email addresses and telephone numbers. When a company representative was reached by phone and asked to comment, she said, "Unfortunately no one can help you in that area." The representative then said that she would pass along The Nation's request. As this article goes to press, no company representative has responded further to The Nation.
Doe #2 states in the declaration that he has also provided the information contained in his statement "in grand jury proceedings convened by the United States Department of Justice." Federal prosecutors convened a grand jury in the aftermath of the September 16, 2007, Nisour Square shootings in Baghdad, which left seventeen Iraqis dead. Five Blackwater employees are awaiting trial on several manslaughter charges and a sixth, Jeremy Ridgeway, has already pleaded guilty to manslaughter and attempting to commit manslaughter and is cooperating with prosecutors. It is not clear whether Doe #2 testified in front of the Nisour Square grand jury or in front of a separate grand jury.
The two declarations are each five pages long and contain a series of devastating allegations concerning Erik Prince and his network of companies, which now operate under the banner of Xe Services LLC. Among those leveled by Doe #2 is that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe":
To that end, Mr. Prince intentionally deployed to Iraq certain men who shared his vision of Christian supremacy, knowing and wanting these men to take every available opportunity to murder Iraqis. Many of these men used call signs based on the Knights of the Templar, the warriors who fought the Crusades.
Mr. Prince operated his companies in a manner that encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life. For example, Mr. Prince's executives would openly speak about going over to Iraq to "lay Hajiis out on cardboard." Going to Iraq to shoot and kill Iraqis was viewed as a sport or game. Mr. Prince's employees openly and consistently used racist and derogatory terms for Iraqis and other Arabs, such as "ragheads" or "hajiis."
Among the additional allegations made by Doe #1 is that "Blackwater was smuggling weapons into Iraq." He states that he personally witnessed weapons being "pulled out" from dog food bags. Doe #2 alleges that "Prince and his employees arranged for the weapons to be polywrapped and smuggled into Iraq on Mr. Prince's private planes, which operated under the name Presidential Airlines," adding that Prince "generated substantial revenues from participating in the illegal arms trade."
Doe #2 states: "Using his various companies, [Prince] procured and distributed various weapons, including unlawful weapons such as sawed off semi-automatic machine guns with silencers, through unlawful channels of distribution." Blackwater "was not abiding by the terms of the contract with the State Department and was deceiving the State Department," according to Doe #1.
This is not the first time an allegation has surfaced that Blackwater used dog food bags to smuggle weapons into Iraq. ABC News's Brian Ross reported in November 2008 that a "federal grand jury in North Carolina is investigating allegations the controversial private security firm Blackwater illegally shipped assault weapons and silencers to Iraq, hidden in large sacks of dog food." Another former Blackwater employee has also confirmed this information to The Nation.
Both individuals allege that Prince and Blackwater deployed individuals to Iraq who, in the words of Doe #1, "were not properly vetted and cleared by the State Department." Doe #2 adds that "Prince ignored the advice and pleas from certain employees, who sought to stop the unnecessary killing of innocent Iraqis." Doe #2 further states that some Blackwater officials overseas refused to deploy "unfit men" and sent them back to the US. Among the reasons cited by Doe #2 were "the men making statements about wanting to deploy to Iraq to 'kill ragheads' or achieve 'kills' or 'body counts,'" as well as "excessive drinking" and "steroid use." However, when the men returned to the US, according to Doe #2, "Prince and his executives would send them back to be deployed in Iraq with an express instruction to the concerned employees located overseas that they needed to 'stop costing the company money.'"
Doe #2 also says Prince "repeatedly ignored the assessments done by mental health professionals, and instead terminated those mental health professionals who were not willing to endorse deployments of unfit men." He says Prince and then-company president Gary Jackson "hid from Department of State the fact that they were deploying men to Iraq over the objections of mental health professionals and security professionals in the field," saying they "knew the men being deployed were not suitable candidates for carrying lethal weaponry, but did not care because deployments meant more money."
Doe #1 states that "Blackwater knew that certain of its personnel intentionally used excessive and unjustified deadly force, and in some instances used unauthorized weapons, to kill or seriously injure innocent Iraqi civilians." He concludes, "Blackwater did nothing to stop this misconduct." Doe #1 states that he "personally observed multiple incidents of Blackwater personnel intentionally using unnecessary, excessive and unjustified deadly force." He then cites several specific examples of Blackwater personnel firing at civilians, killing or "seriously" wounding them, and then failing to report the incidents to the State Department.
Doe #1 also alleges that "all of these incidents of excessive force were initially videotaped and voice recorded," but that "Immediately after the day concluded, we would watch the video in a session called a 'hot wash.' Immediately after the hotwashing, the video was erased to prevent anyone other than Blackwater personnel seeing what had actually occurred." Blackwater, he says, "did not provide the video to the State Department."
Doe #2 expands on the issue of unconventional weapons, alleging Prince "made available to his employees in Iraq various weapons not authorized by the United States contracting authorities, such as hand grenades and hand grenade launchers. Mr. Prince's employees repeatedly used this illegal weaponry in Iraq, unnecessarily killing scores of innocent Iraqis." Specifically, he alleges that Prince "obtained illegal ammunition from an American company called LeMas. This company sold ammunition designed to explode after penetrating within the human body. Mr. Prince's employees repeatedly used this illegal ammunition in Iraq to inflict maximum damage on Iraqis."
Blackwater has gone through an intricate rebranding process in the twelve years it has been in business, changing its name and logo several times. Prince also has created more than a dozen affiliate companies, some of which are registered offshore and whose operations are shrouded in secrecy. According to Doe #2, "Prince created and operated this web of companies in order to obscure wrongdoing, fraud and other crimes."
"For example, Mr. Prince transferred funds from one company (Blackwater) to another (Greystone) whenever necessary to avoid detection of his money laundering and tax evasion schemes." He added: "Mr. Prince contributed his personal wealth to fund the operations of the Prince companies whenever he deemed such funding necessary. Likewise, Mr. Prince took funds out of the Prince companies and placed the funds in his personal accounts at will."
Briefed on the substance of these allegations by The Nation, Congressman Dennis Kucinich replied, "If these allegations are true, Blackwater has been a criminal enterprise defrauding taxpayers and murdering innocent civilians." Kucinich is on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and has been investigating Prince and Blackwater since 2004.
"Blackwater is a law unto itself, both internationally and domestically. The question is why they operated with impunity. In addition to Blackwater, we should be questioning their patrons in the previous administration who funded and employed this organization. Blackwater wouldn't exist without federal patronage; these allegations should be thoroughly investigated," Kucinich said.
A hearing before Judge Ellis in the civil cases against Blackwater is scheduled for August 7.

Show AllPrince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe,"
Egad! This 'Crusader' attitude will destroy Christianity.
This isn't the 'love your enemy' that Jesus preached.
What does a socialist hippie like Jesus have to do with Christianity as practiced today?
There's a close relationship - they embody diametrically opposing principles.
The Black Prince’s Bible, the King George Edition says, “Blessed are those who Murder for Mammon while Crusading for Cash, for ye shall receive no-bid contracts.”
Well said, Caleb! Well said.
Jesus was a Jew. Jesus followed the God (or was the God or Son of God) of the Old Testament. That God was no socialist hippie. That God was so angry at His creations that he killed (almost) all of them.
"And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them." Genesis 6:7
That's Jesus speaking as God himself before he was Jesus, or maybe it's just Jesus's Dad,. But it's definitely the same God that Jesus was telling everyone to worship.
Jesus had magical powers for a reason. Humans can't fly or rise from the dead. Doesn't that part of the story mean anything?
Say it aint So! This man was designated to be our protector from the evil Muslims by none other than G. Dumbyuh Bush- a contract signed in blood with the oversight of none other than God Almighty Himself!
I'd love to see real action take place over this, but my faith just isn't as unbreakable as our former master GWB.
I hope this sticks.
Erik Prince and Blackwater is a US funded Christian Terrorist Group.

HORRIFIED: Did you catch the stories about the Christian evangelizing of the US Air Force? That Coors sponsored huge stadium events also pushing these views?
Prince is precisely the type of individual who would have moved quickly up the ranks of The Third Reich. His willingness to murder others on the basis of an ethnic (or religious) designation speaks volumes regarding the depths U.S. leadership has fallen, to do business with such a one! Nor is the resurrection (of this nation's collective soul) yet in sight. And the precedents, they add a whole new meaning to fascism given the weapons and surveillance tools currently at the disposal of so-called leaders. Those seduced by the darkest side of power can always contract out persons like Prince to do their dirty work, the way the Mafia employs efficient hardened assassins. Genetically engineered mechanisms for taking out entire groups are probably on the drawing board. There is no low to which this group will not collectiely go.
Sounds too "good" to be true.
Yeah. My original reply was HOLY SHIT. And that was the reply of the first friend I shared it with too...but yeah, let's hope this is what gets Xe the hell out of existence.
While I too am skeptical that justice will prevail, wouldn't it be wonderful if Prince is convicted and sentenced to death! I think the Iraqi people would make it a national holiday to celebrate. Rightfully so!
"wouldn't it be wonderful if Prince is convicted and sentenced to death!"
No.
Capital punishment is barbaric.
A true life sentence in some deep, dark, dank hole would be appropriate.
The bottom of a well perhaps?
That would work too. Anything to make this mass murderer suffer.
agreed.
death is the end of suffering.
too good for the likes of this Prince of darkness.
I think waking up black and starving in Africa, or gay with AIDS in the deep south would be good. Or perhaps a victim of sex slavery in Turkey. After all, most of the world is barely getting by, why shouldn't people like Prince experience the human condition.
I think these guys answer to Bush Sr.

If Western civilization survives this era (the karmic blowback of which has hardly yet hit home), Eric Prince and Blackwater will be the symbols of how low society fell. Here is a person, one made inordinately rich on the basis of his hatred of other. So convinced is he, in an authoritarian mindset, that his particular religious sect owns a monopoly on what is Holy unto God, that he's made barbarism directed at others his life "work." And not only does he self-righteously lay claim to an embarassment of riches, he has not an iota of compassion for what he's done to those foreign and exotic relatives grown from the same living tree, its trunk, the FAMILY of mankind.
That a mind as twisted and hate-based as his, has been lent presidential favors, been sent numerous contracts signed in blood, tells us where this nation's ideals have ended up.
I, too, hope he gets a serious trial; however, the same insiders who don't want torture data leaked (even though much has been) since it points straight to the moral blackhole at the top of the command chain, will probably fall all over themselves to protect this Prince of darkness, one of their own having drunk of the same blood oaths they have.
As usual you are pretty well nailing it down, but I just would like to add that at the beginning of the Iraq occupation and somewhere in the middle; first we had the UN HQ blown up supposedly by Al Qaeda and then the Golden domed mosque at a later stage.
Both of these events contributed to the entrenchment and expansion of the conflict. Both events did not make sense in furthering the aims of a supposed AQ or even in terms of the sectarian conflicts, but certainly did further the interests of expanding the hell in Iraq. Personally I have always suspected false flag attacks in both these instances, and asked myself in whose interest was the continuation of the hell. Some of the facts surrounding them bear this out. Names like Halliburton and many other contracting corporations came to mind as possible beneficiaries.
But, when I asked myself who would one get to do such a thing, it is not difficult to see who might have the moral fortitude in view of the above. Sure it is speculation but, but hell, just like in the case of 9-11, we are not allowed the facts which have been deliberately hidden or white washed, so all we are left with is our sixth sense and the obvious.
Sergio de Mello was a good man, who tried to reign in the madness. May he rest in peace. And may we be rid of the scum like Prince and his ilk.
Lucitanian, cogent. Not just the mosque. But the recent attacks on Shia pilgrims and worshipers from Iran in Iraq. These served no interests I could discern except Israels. Which i guess mean the US's. Which I guess mean US corporations and the US military.
just guessing though
But for the False-Flag of all time watch the Gulf of Oman. Where a US Carrier is gonna get sunk by an SS-N-22 (but not) fired by Iran, (but not). However that's how Fox will report it, like 9-11, and we can get busy finishing the job which does mean finishing Iran.
But, "We need a new Pearl Harbor." No, not 9-11, not THAT new one, a NEW one!!! Oh Boy!!
It's funny, Sioux Rose, every thing you said about Prince could just as well have been said about Osama bin Laden. Who are these nasty little rich boys who are playing with our world? Is this the next generation of evil? God help us all!

Eric Prince is the perfect Christian Crusader, much like Richard the Lionhearted, who told the Muslims of Acre that he would spare them if they surrendered. They surrendered and he proceeded to masacre every man woman and child.
The Cruaders were famous for impaling their victims. I would not be suprised to find Prince in favor of impaling.
The Crusades were not limited to fighting Muslims. Heretic Orthodox Christians were a favorite target.
In the 12the century, Orthodox Christians would park their wives and children with the Muslims - who they could trust.
They definitely could not trust the Crusaders - much like we can not trust the murderous Prince of Modern Day Crusades

DUCK: He likely lived in that time period and the RUSH (Chris Hedge's version of "War being the thing that gives our lives meaning" style) stayed with him, in the "blood" (or soul memory) so to speak.
Hey, I always felt Jeffrey Dahmer's last incarnation was in a cannibalistic tribe somewhere in the South Pacific. He just hadn't had enough time to adjust his taste buds to Big Macs.
(Yeah, I'm quirky tonight. I'll blame it on the off-beat Aquarian full moon.)
Cheney will not let his little warrior prince go down without a fight. Maybe there will be some investigations, MSM will ignore it, the story will blow over and Prince will end up with his own AM radio talk show.
I have looked at the "traditional" news sites and I am not finding this story being reported. I guess CD, Alternet, and HuffPost have a scoop on this.
I wonder if this story will get any air time at all on the networks' evening news broadcasts.
Sure they'll report it, but only if it involves Michael Jackson.
Keith Obermann had Jeremy on tonight... good interview.
If this allegation is true, and bears scrutiny in a court of law, then the trail of blood will lead straight into the Whitehouse, not only of the Bush junta, but also Team Obama.
Because Blackwater is *still* operating on a US government no-bid contact.
And what of the allegations that Blackwater mercs also used the citizens of New Orleans as target practice after Hurricane Katrina?
Walk in peace.
interesting that the US Govt would send in this gang toot sweet to New Orleans while real help for the people was on hold. If you're doin it for Jesus it cant be murder, thievery, rape...Another thing to remember is that "money is God's report card."
And just what sort of domestic law enforcement agency is manned and equipped sufficiently to apprehend and or serve warrants upon a mercenary army on US soil equipped with miniguns, its own air force, grenades, rockets, and armored personel carriers? I don't forsee a run-of-the-mill SWAT team / standoff situation.
Something tells me this story will get real ugly really fast when some politician needs a massive distraction / scare-a-thon to cram through some give-away to our monied masters.
Typical Republican
If anyone deserves the highest awards for courage and integrity in journalism and reporting, it is Jeremy Scahill.
Mr. Scahill has been reporting on this mercenary company from day one! Excuse me, they are now called "contractors", these killers for money. The Nazi SA and SS were "contractors." The old syndicate had "contractors" called by the Feds, "Murder Inc", Albert Anastasia and Lepke Buchalter's organization of professional hit men.The Croatian "Ustazi" were"contractors" in WW2, and it goes on and on.
Wondering how the the right-wing media and the Washington war-mongers, aka, the Republicrats in Congress will handle this one?
Siouxrose, you've been right all along! Maybe we can call this addiction and acceptance of violence, the "Mars Syndrome."
Sioux Rose
PEACEMAN: I like your post. And that IS a great title... "The Mars Syndrome." May I borrow it? Although the few magazines (two I know of) that publish serious astrology shy away from inflamed political "opinion," I have been working on an article too significant to be passed up. Its premise is that to the extent Mars rules (i.e. the "Mars Syndrome") robs the world of Venus. That is it leaves culture with a massive Venus deficit. And it occured to me that Venus, symbol of love as nurturing force, relates to food, how we nourish ourselves. In our Fast Food Nation, there is a marked absence of nourishment (and often of nurture). When people are not well-nourished they emote in uneven ways, and this can cause strain on relationships. The Venus deficit shows everywhere I look... especially when I see gorgeous forest land cleared to build yet another Baptist Church in this Bible belt. I once asked a woman who attended one why there needed to be 3 Baptist churches within a few mile radius. I am not exaggerating when I tell you she answered by stating that at one women were not allowed to wear pants, and the other delineations were equally trivial and OH SO authoritarian!
Mars Syndrome, INDEED!
Here's the TV commercial for the "drug cure."
"Do YOU suffer from Mars Syndrome? Do you have to fight the urge not to slap the supermarket clerk across the head for being so slow? Feel the need to pass everyone else on the road, even if the posted speed limit is 25 MPH? Are you unable to tame the urge to add to your gun collection? Have you taken Viagra more than 5 times this week?...
"If you've answered yes to three or more of these questions, then Venusiva is for you! And if you call now, we'll send you a free sample. That's right! You JUST pay for shipping and handling. And your wives will thank us, too!"
Sioux Rose: Thanks for the compliment and by all means borrow it, in fact use it as you see fit. It's yours! Besides being an eloquent writer, many of us have learned from the wisdom you impart on CD over the years.
I just put the copyright form for that phrase in the shredder.
Good health and much happiness,
Peaceman
Sioux Rose: I cut my post short to watch the Jon Stewart show on Comedy Central television. Sen. Charles Grassley has been in Congress too long. They showed Grassley in Congress holding posters (elementary school level drawings) of Sir Lancelot and "Sir Taxalot" as well. For eight years, the Republican Crime Family looted the national treasury and borrowed from everybody and their brother (overseas) and now, and I'm no fan of Obama or the Democrats, they squawk about everything the Dems try to do.
Back to your TV commercial...funny and witty! Very good! You made my day!

He does some good work, but plenty of other people also do. CD provides a very, very limited view. Not all of these people are journalists, for some are professors, f.e.. These are only two categories describing the plenty of good writers. F.e., Stephen Lendman does very good work and is neither a journalist nor a professor, although he does happen to provide a lot of [educational] articles and very good book reviews.
You also forgot about DAHR JAMAIL. And you seem to also forget John Pilger and other very good and very important documentary filmmakers.
You could certainly water down your hero worship and spend more time learning about and reading from other important writers and providers of critical information. Better than by far most journalists are the important documentarians or documentary filmmakers, for they tell us a lot more than journalists do; however, we also need good journalists, which means the truly investigative kind.
However, MPRI is evidently much worse than Blackwater and when did Jeremy Scahill write about MPRI and the many other very serious "mercenary", war-making, ... companies of the U.S.? I only know of some articles by him on BW, in terms of what he's written about the private military contracting "business".
We get an awfully limited perspective at CD. There are www.globalresearch.ca, www.uruknet.info for news from sources around the world, Larry Chin and some others at OnlineJournal.com, people with articles at dissidentvoice.org, Keith Harmon Snow and some other good investigative writers on conflicts in Africa, while Keith Snow is perhaps the most investigative. I can't say for sure that he is, but he has definitely written up some extensive articles reporting on what's really going on Africa. Perhaps he's back there again, since I haven't received any emails from the subscription to his articles; and his website is www.allthingspass.com .
This is just a few good sources. Even if I can't vouch for all of the content at any of these websites and all of the articles by the above-named individuals, etc., I know that there's been plenty of good, and hardly any of them ever having any articles at CD for ... several years already.
It's just a few good sources, but globalresearch.ca, uruknet.info, and dissidentvoice.org, f.e., all provide articles from people who aren't only American; while GR and Uruknet also provide news articles from sources around the world, albeit Uruknet provides a lot more than GR does for news articles. GR is more for Features articles, analyses for the most part; but also provides news articles that Uruknet might not even be aware of.
The Nation isn't always a good source; when it provides good articles, then great, but this is definitely not constant. It's certainly not good enough to ignore others.
Using multiple Web sites provides greater opportunities to learn of things that are important far earlier than we would otherwise learn of them, and that's if we ever did learn of them by not using multiple Web sites.
I try to make a point of making sure that U.S. Web sites don't become predominant in my use of the Web. However, I appreciate CD particularly for articles on environmental issues in the US, picking up on some of the national economic news, and just seeing how a US Web site is doing in terms of topics covered through the Web site. OpEdNews.com is probably a good one to check too, but it's also mostly American, I think, and I can't check many, so some time has to be left to GR and Uruknet in order to check what's available from international sources.
Mike: I agree with what you said, perhaps exaggerating my accolade for Scahill, and I would give the writer's and filmmakers you mentioned equal tribute. They are genuine investigative reporters, and I admire and respect every one of them.
I remeber listening to Jeremy Scahill on www.kpfa.org, when he was in Yugoslavia, reporting on Slick Willy Clinton and his neo-liberal cohort, Tony Blair, and their NATO flunkies, when they committed crimes against humanity by bombing Serbia, etc. Scahill was on the scene, reporting the facts, not in a hotel like the MSM cheerleading stenographers.
Also, I read the websites you mentioned, and we are on the same page. I do admire your posts on CD, over the years.
hey peaceman, where've ya been??.........

Hi Coco, nice hearing from you again. I spend less time on the internet (including CD) since last year, and more time on the streets or lecturing hall, spreading the message trying to organize people. (not very easy in Amerika)
I don't know what happened to Kem. Some of the old-timers either dropped out, some changed their screen names, or whatever.
Are you still in Europa? I gotta go, Coco. Later!
thanks for the reply...............yup, still here. i guess you didn't get to make your trip here.............keep up the good (if difficult) work............
I wonder how to explain the often diabolical and dangerous self-righteousness possessed by fundamentalist Christians? Erik Prince's sister is married to fellow born again Christian billionaire Rich Da Vos, whose father founded the pyramid-scheme Amway, a company that helped fund Reagans' secret 1980s Contra terrorists to eliminate Nicaragua of "Communists." After Erik had performed a tour with the de facto mercenary Navy Seals fighting "evil" in the Middle East, he formed his private mercenary company in 1997. His desire to eliminate Muslims and the Islamic Faith from the earth, is similar to his brother-in-law's family comparisons of Muslims to Hitler's war machine.
It's as old as the Holy Roman Empire, when the emperor Constantine embraced Christianity (along with worship of Apollo). Then (320 A.D.), as now, the Christian faith has been a way to rally the troops. It's a death cult that promises everlasting life.
Christianity (that is, the Jesus kind) should be antithetical to military violence, but that has not been its history. The talk about the Crusades - by both Bush, Blackwater and General Boykin - suggests that they all understand this too, in a twisted way.

RE: Christian military domination:
I couldn't find the exact papal bull or decree, but there is a legal framework provided by the Pope that gives legal justification to any nation/kingship that subdues a non-Christian people. When the Portuguese, Dutch, and Spaniards were exploiting the "new" world, they first sought and received the Pope's authorization. Of course benefits flowed to the Vatican. There are reports that a LOT of Nazi money and loot were laundered through the Vatican. One report of a large caravan of trucks near the end of WWII entered the Vatican, only to reappear on the other side as clean assets for Nazis in other parts of the world. Somehow this Christian bigotry and enabling continues to this day, with certain Anglo American empire claims still grounded in papal authority.
This is probably not the best source, but here:
http://www.nativeweb.org/pages/legal/indig-inter-caetera.html
The Bull Inter Caetera (Alexander VI), May 4, 1493.
Background
Columbus' discovery in 1492 of supposedly Asiatic lands in the western seas threatened the unstable relations between the kingdoms of Portugal and Castile, which had been jockeying for position and possession of colonial territories along the African coast for many years. The king of Portugal asserted that the discovery was within the bounds set forth in Papal bulls of 1455, 1456, and 1479. The king and queen of Castile disputed this and sought a new Papal Bull on the subject.
Pope Alexander VI, a native of Valencia and a friend of the Castilian king, responded with three bulls, dated May 3 and 4, which were highly favorable to Castile. The third of these bulls, the bull Inter caetera, is reproduced below, in an English translation published in European Treaties bearing on the History of the United States and its Dependencies to 1648, Frances Gardiner Davenport, editor, Carnegie Institution of Washington, 1917, Washington, D.C., at pp. 75-78. The original text in Latin is in the same volume, at pp. 72-75.
