The Voters Have Spoken

In our first glimpse of a post-Dobbs political landscape, reverberations are still flowing from the "thunderclap" of deep-red Kansas voting by a "staggering" margin to protect women's access to abortion. Amidst glad, defiant exclamations - "Holy shit, Kansas! Roe woke up a giant. It's not over. Hell hath no fury like 167 million pissed off women going to the polls" - and key lessons - Dems ignore the issue of women's health at their peril - arose the pivotal heart of the matter. From Norma Hamilton, a 90-year-old Republican who voted to save abortion access: "I like the women’s rights.”
