Press Release

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) Endorses Nina Turner for Congress.

For the People of Cleveland, the Country, and the Planet: A Nina Turner Victory is a Priority

Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), a grassroots political action committee, announced its endorsement of former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner for U.S. House of Representatives from Ohio's 11th District.

Progressive Democrats of America Executive Director Alan Minsky said, “PDA is proud to endorse Nina Turner for Congress in Ohio's 11th district in her rematch with establishment Democrat Shontel Brown.”

Minsky explained, “For us, the question is simple. Do you support an unacceptable, unjust status quo? Or do you want progressive change? The answer is clear. The economic and racial inequalities that define life in Cleveland and the rest of the 11th District must be confronted by policies designed to dramatically improve the lives of the poor and working class majority population.”

Minsky added, “Nina Turner not only supports such policies wholeheartedly, she is a truly unique politician—tireless, inspiring, and visionary—unafraid to confront the powerful and, as such, able to motivate the positive transformation our society so desperately needs.”

Minsky concluded, “We call upon all progressives, from sea to shining sea, to support the great Nina Turner for Congress in 2022.”
