WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange on the 'War Logs': 'I Enjoy Crushing Bastards'
In a SPIEGEL interview, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, 39, discusses his decision to publish the Afghanistan war logs, the difficult balance between the public interest and the need for state secrets and why he believes people who wage war are more dangerous than him.
SPIEGEL: You are about to publish a vast amount of classified data on the war in Afghanistan. What is your motivation?
Assange: These files are the most comprehensive description of a war to be published during the course of a war -- in other words, at a time when they still have a chance of doing some good. They cover more than 90,000 different incidents, together with precise geographical locations. They cover the small and the large. A single body of information, they eclipse all that has been previously said about Afghanistan. They will change our perspective on not only the war in Afghanistan, but on all modern wars.
SPIEGEL: Do you think that the publication of this data will influence political decision-makers?
Assange: Yes. This material shines light on the everyday brutality and squalor of war. The archive will change public opinion and it will change the opinion of people in positions of political and diplomatic influence.
SPIEGEL: Aren't you expecting a little too much?
Assange: There is a mood to end the war in Afghanistan. This information won't do it alone, but it will shift political will in a significant manner.
SPIEGEL: The material contains military secrets and names of sources. By publishing it, aren't you endangering the lives of international troops and their informants in Afghanistan?
Assange: The Kabul files contain no information related to current troop movements. The source went through their own harm minimization process, and instructed us to conduct our usual review to make sure there was not a significant chance of innocents being negatively affected. We understand the importance of protecting confidential sources, and we understand why it is important to protect certain US and ISAF sources.
SPIEGEL: So what, specifically, did you do to minimize any possible harm?
Assange: We identified cases where there may be a reasonable chance of harm occurring to the innocent. Those records were identified and edited accordingly.
SPIEGEL: Is there anything that you consider to be a legitimate state secret?
Assange: There is a legitimate role for secrecy, and there is a legitimate role for openness. Unfortunately, those who commit abuses against humanity or against the law find abusing legitimate secrecy to conceal their abuse all too easy. People of good conscience have always revealed abuses by ignoring abusive strictures. It is not WikiLeaks that decides to reveal something. It is a whistleblower or a dissident who decides to reveal it. Our job is to make sure that these individuals are protected, the public is informed and the historical record is not denied.
SPIEGEL: But in the end somebody has to decide whether you publish or not. Who determines the criteria? WikiLeaks considers itself to be a trailblazer when it comes to freedom of information, but it lacks transparency in its own publishing decisions.
Assange: This is ridiculous. We are clear about what we will publish and what we will not. We do not have ad-hoc editorial decisions. We always release the full primary sources to our articles. What other press organization has such exacting standards? Everyone should try to follow our lead.
SPIEGEL: The problem is that it is difficult to hold WikiLeaks accountable. You operate your servers in countries that offer you broad protection. Does WikiLeaks consider itself to be above the law?
Assange: WikiLeaks does not exist in outer space. We are people who exist on Earth, in particular nations, each of which have a particular set of laws. We have been legally challenged in various countries. We have won every challenge. It is courts that decide the law, not corporations or generals. The law, as expressed by constitutions and courts, has been on our side.
SPIEGEL: You have said that there is a correlation between the transparency for which you are fighting and a just society. What do you mean by that?
Assange: Reform can only come about when injustice is exposed. To oppose an unjust plan before it reaches implementation is to stop injustice.
SPIEGEL: During the Vietnam War, US President Richard Nixon once called Daniel Elsberg, the leaker of the Pentagon Papers, the most dangerous man in America. Are you today's most dangerous man or the most endangered?
Assange: The most dangerous men are those who are in charge of war. And they need to be stopped. If that makes me dangerous in their eyes, so be it.
SPIEGEL: You could have started a company in Silicon Valley and lived in a home in Palo Alto with a swimming pool. Why did you decide to do the WikiLeaks project instead?
Assange: We all only live once. So we are obligated to make good use of the time that we have, and to do something that is meaningful and satisfying. This is something that I find meaningful and satisfying. That is my temperament. I enjoy creating systems on a grand scale, and I enjoy helping people who are vulnerable. And I enjoy crushing bastards. So it is enjoyable work.

Show AllAssange for President !!!! ( he can borrow my birth certificate)
I don't think Assange wants to be president. It's one of the things that makes him so attractive. (He's like Nader that way.)
Others have said this but it bears repeating. Will the corporate media cover this story or will it remain in a vacuum? The good news is that this has become a front page story on The New York Times though my local news paper buried it on the back page of the front section of the paper while the USA Today had a couple pf paragraphs about the story on page A5. I am not aware if the Washington Post has reported on this. Since most Americans receive their news from television this begs the question if news programs such as Hardball will ask the hardball questions that surround this story. Will anyone in the White House Press Corps question Obama and his Press Secretary Gibbs as Helen Thomas would have done?
As Julian Assange points out, this story would not have been possible without whistleblowers such as Bradley Manning who, unlike so many of the robots in the military today, has a conscience and does not wish, as Assange has said, the bastards to get away with this.
WaPo online has it, but like some other major organs, it focuses on negative reaction, rather than on the leak itself: "Angry Pakistani officials deny leaked documents' suggestion of ties to Taliban"* Still, it accomplishes the same thing (and covers WaPo's derriere?).

There was some suggestion by a commenter yesterday that the leak is a planned event and part of some complicated political move by Obama or whoever to sway public opinion. Well, practically all media communication is intended to sway public opinion, and since the populace is reportedly beginning to mumble against at least the more egregious parts of the unending 'war' in the M.E., the WikiLeaks disclosures are timely and helpful. My sense is that although we already knew much of this, it does require proof (as it should) to convince others - and here it is, folks.
This AM I watched the coverage of the leaks on the morning yack shows. They seemed to be downplaying it. Basically saying nothing nobody didn't already know, just lots of details on things already known.
Democracy now on the other hand spent the whole hour on it and made it a VERY BIG deal. There is almost always a stark difference between now MSM media covers a story as compared to DN.
ERROLL: They'll try to "pull an Acorn" on Assange IF they cover the story. You can bet your bippie that they'll dress it up as what a danger this man is to our troops, how he's compromising our dedicated military's efforts to make the world safe from terrorists, etc. He'll be (falsely) turned into a contaminated pariah.
My point is that the story may get more spin than the best racing car at Daytona.
When the media remains under corporate control, the PR people can take ANY issue, and regardless of its nobility, completely divest it of its true meaning, purpose, and significance.
The US was lied into the war in Iraq, and nothing legal has come out of that travesty... even though a war of aggression has been termed the ultimate crime against humanity.
The US was lied into the latest president, a marketing model of excellence, ONLY from an advertising standpoint.
Anyone who has not viewed "Century of the Self" to see the hynpotic power of media, not only in shaping opinions, but actually molding collective consciousness, should do so.
"Anyone who has not viewed "Century of the Self" to see the hynpotic power of media, not only in shaping opinions, but actually molding collective consciousness, should do so."
Agreed, Siouxrose. It is powerful stuff, akin to taking the red pill.
It can be viewed here: www.freedocumentaries.org
Bradley Manning is another hero for the Constitution. He is now being prosecuted in order to harm Wikileak's base.
Support Bradley Manning: http://www.bradleymanning.org/
We all should care about crushing the bastards !!!!
julian Assange is putting his life on the line for what's right. He deserves our support.
AD
Agreed!
It is good that there are people like Julian Assange in the world, and that there are governments with rule of law in some countries. It is most unfortunate that the US, Canada, the UK, and many of the EU nations have become nations without rule of law. It is tragic that the citizens of these nations are so ignorant or blinded that they have not noticed the degree to which their governments routinely break their own laws. We have always wondered how the Nazis could have been elected and done the horrors of war and Holocaust, in such a civilized and educated nation as Germany. Now we know since we are following a similar path of patriotism and self-interest, all wrapped up in secrecy, lawlessness and lying.
Right on!
President Obama is clearly responsible for war crimes knowingly being committed under his command since he assumed the Presidency on January 20th, 2009 and for which he since has had the ability and authority to not allow. Beginning on March 19th, 2005, VFP National had called for the Impeachment (now arrest and prosecution) of President Bush for the same war crimes in violation of U.S. and International Law, and we believe that Veterans For Peace must apply the same standard to any U.S. President, whether that president is Republican or Democrat, male or female, white or black.
The majority of us feel that calling for the Impeachment of President Obama for war crimes is our duty as a members of Veterans For Peace, consistent with the VFP statement of purpose to restrain our government from intervening, overtly or covertly, in the internal affairs of other nations, to seek justice for veterans and victims of war, to increase public awareness of the costs of war, and to abolish war as an instrument of national policy. We also feel the same sense of duty to call for the Impeachment of President Obama for war crimes as those who swore an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic and simply as Americans who have a responsibility for what our President and servant government does in our name.
IMPEACHMENT OF PRESIDENT BARACK H. OBAMA FOR WAR CRIMES
Whereas Barack H. Obama is Commander In Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces and the head of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government; and,
Whereas the illegal U.S. invasion, bombing and occupation of Iraq initiated by the Bush administration continues under the Obama administration; and,
Whereas the U.S. government is currently engaged in illegal wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan and Obama has pledged to increase the number of military personnel and the amount of tax dollars spent on the wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan; and,
Whereas the U.S. military has used and continues to use depleted uranium munitions, cluster bombs and white phosphorous in densely populated areas in violation of U.S. and international laws and treaties prohibiting the indiscriminate killing of civilians; and,
Whereas the Geneva Conventions specifically prohibit the use of especially injurious weapons and materials that cause unnecessary harm by remaining active and deadly after a battle and over large areas of land; and,
Whereas a large number of babies born in Iraq and Afghanistan suffer from illness and deformity like Down’s syndrome, weak hearts, severe disfigurement and brain damage that doctors believe are caused by the U.S. military’s massive and widespread use of toxic and radioactive materials; and,
Whereas millions upon millions of Iraqi, Afghani and Pakistani civilians have been killed, maimed, poisoned and displaced from their homes as a direct result of the U.S.’s ongoing, illegal acts of war; and,
Whereas illegal, immoral and counterproductive detainee torture and brutalization at the hands of the U.S. military’s Immediate Reaction Force continue at Guantanamo under the Obama administration; and,
Whereas Obama is an accessory after the fact for obstructing justice by not initiating an investigation into numerous and blatant U.S. war crimes committed by the Bush administration for which it is manifestly accountable under the rule of law; and,
Whereas Veterans For Peace supported the impeachment of Bush/Cheney for the same war crimes that are now being committed by Obama in violation of the U.S. Constitution, U.S. federal laws, the United Nations Charter, the Hague Convention, the Geneva Conventions, The United Nations Convention Against Torture and the Nuremberg Tribunal Charter; and,
Whereas Veterans For Peace is committed to its stated mission to restrain our government from intervening, overtly or covertly, in the internal affairs of other nations, to seek justice for veterans and victims of war, to increase public awareness of the costs of war, and to abolish war as an instrument of national policy; and, therefore be it...

Very well said. As former Chief Prosecutor Robert H. Jackson noted at the Nuremberg trials, it is not only the Germans who should have been prosecuted for war crimes as the law must also "... condemn aggression by other nations, including those which sit here now in judgment."

What kind of response are you getting from VFP?
What is VFP's response to this?
Francis Boyle is preparing a complaint against Barack Obama to be sent to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Boyle is a world renown expert on International law/US Constitutional law and is a professor of law at the U. of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana.

I've still got my "Impeach Bush & Cheney (afterdowningstreet.org)" tee-shirts. Could you toss them in too? (And maybe Pelosi for good measure.) It'd be good to get back on the streets.
I saw that the first two stories on CNN, just now, were about the information that was leaked and about the editor of wikileaks. I tried to go to wikileaks and make a donation, but the site was not available. Hopefully due to the overwhelming demand on their servers by the millions who want to do the same. I'll try again later. Hope you join me.
I saw on FDL last night that a CNN reporter tried to trivialize Assange, and that "CNN" jerked the discussion right back to the importance of the dump and his (Wikileaks') importance. What's going on here?
This is a sobering mature 'situation', and quoting the 'crush the bastards' remark (an aside...the least important remark in the interview) as the headline 'money shot' is an awful decision, dragging this down into inflammatory garbageland. Common Dreams should know better.
Ken you are absolutely right about this,Julian should be nominated for the Nobel peace prize not denegrated in any way.The Pentagon and spooks are trying to do that allready.
peace
KATRINE: Good analysis. Thanks for posting it.
Truth without emotion does not grab anyone.
Even in the best song written about war, Dylan concludes to the Masters of War,
"and I will stand on your grave till I'm sure that your dead"
"I enjoy Crushing the Bastards", had to be said by somebody, and now we got it.
Thanks Wiki!
Thank god Assange and Common Dreams (unlike some of the commenters) have a sense of humor.
Julian Assange and Wikileaks deserve our appreciation and full support.
Secrecy is the tool of tyrants, and those in power ALWAYS claim that the leaks will put our military personnel at risk even though this almost never turns out to be the case.
Jim Shea
This will not be a latter day Pentagon Papers. Assange will not be latter day Daniel Ellsberg. There will be no follow-up, hard-hitting investigative reporting in the WP and NYT. There will be some talk, for jsut one day, about the leaked papers, but not about the substance of the papers.
Then, it will all be ignored and memory-holed.
What USAn gives a flying fuck about dead Afghans?
Assange will be quietly "disspeared". It won't be covered in the news.
I certainly do care and most Americans care far more than you think. Most don't want our kids or theirs dying because we are occupying their country. If you took a vote, we would be gone. Bad leadership got us there and bad leadership keeps us there.
SABO: You apparently fail to recognize that there IS a whole world out there, and many citizens are waking up to the U.S. mission of all war, all the time. Given that our own economy is held up by all sorts of felonious bankster deals, the gravy train could come to a stop if enough global citizens came to realize what is being funded...
And by the way, playing CD prophet you wrote disspeared; it's disappeared. I guess your civil engineering job doesn't provide you with many hours, as you seem to spend your days on these threads. Makes one wonder if you're as good a civil engineer as you are at making predictions.
At this point (and really, since the video) Assange cannot be *quietly "disappeared"*. His publication of the DoD plot against him was an act of genius (not paranoia...this guy seemingly does not care as much as he should about his own personal safety). The US government (in its stupidity) and he (in his genius) have virtually made GOTUS the guarantor of his safety. He's got more visibility than the Beatles.
I think ASSANGE deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, but apart from his considerable courage and evident LOVE for mankind... I disliked the way the interviewer put HIM on the spot, as if the whistleblower is guilty of the ITEMS being exposed! It's a modern version of the king's wish to slay the deliverer of bad news!
The military and its covert CIA branch have been able to achieve a lot of dastardly deeds under cover. Only Light can act as the ultimate dis-infectant. This whole underground operation believes it operates with impunity. Its personnel routinely play god and do so without the slightest bit of public scrutiny.
Thank the Spirit that persons like Assange still exist, and role-model the inner fortitude to come forward, risking their lives on behalf of what is right. He has more integrity and courage in his toenail than do any of the current military mis-leader-pretenders. How courageous is it to treat war like a video game, and instruct kids to murder civilian families thousands of miles away thanks to a high tech joy stick apparatus?
KATRINE: You're a savvy strategist! Sometimes I feel I gain the same experience from interacting in this forum with several detractors. There's a silver lining in every dark cloud.
Very kind of you, Katrine. I honor all those who do their homework (or research) to formulate independent opinions. And it's always a treat when a poster can articulate his or her perspective effectively. The trolls who frequent these threads do not qualify for that designation. They do, however, manage to leave an awful lot of "droppings" behind. A bit tough on the voluntary clean-up crews.
All this self congratulation and flattery is disgusting. "honor of your compliment!" - - what egotism, what a self-centered, indulgent clique - - patting each other on the back over and over again - - The Sioux Group. What arrogance. Can't all these astrologists, shaman lovers, new agers, self promoters, guru types, feminists find another site. I should find another site - - any suggestions. We had a break from this drivel until Sioux Rose came back from enlightenment in Peru to speak to us mortals of her received wisdom. How does one get so superior, know-it-all. And now we get crude, scatological language.
Seems that a little knee-JERK sexist reaction has kicked in. I applaud LOTS of people on these threads, and I have also defended some. If you don't like comments that take the bigger picture into account, that's fine. Just pass the posts on by.
I have not boasted about enlightenment drawn from Peru. I have related things learned directly from Dr. Alberto Villoldo. It's a shame that you feel a need to diminish what I bring to the forum, particularly since I've been fortunate to travel freely to some exotic places, like Nepal and India, too. These exposures reflect my direct efforts to discover UNIVERSAL truths, as opposed to the more authoritarian ones that artificially divide the world into winners and losers, those who purportedly qualify as "with us or against us." It's quite ironical that my attempts to expand "the circle" are met with those who chastise me for doing just that. Then they accuse me of using THEIR ends and means... which aims at excluding persons.
I share on this site because esoteric matters are so seldom considered by otherwise thoughtful "members of the left." I happen to be quite good at relating the cosmic math (astrological aspects) to present day events. Commondreams publishes many writers who inspire my thought process. Some who generously contribute to these threads do likewise.
To the extent someone needs to be right, to think their personal logic is the only way to frame an argument says much about their attachment to ego. Spirituality is more diffusive AND inclusive, and perhaps because of those qualities, more amenable to feminist ideals. You're obviously uncomfortable with a set of beliefs that challenges your rigid world-view.
Do you think you raise the bar for tolerance or enlightenment by casting aspersions at astrology, shaman, "new agers" (astrology being an ANCIENT meta-science), or feminists? YOU'RE an authoritarian, and such a stance is anathema to anything remotely progressive.
Sometimes I think some people are by nature petty and mean-spirited. You may define my comments as "drivel," however at least 30 others have said they learned from them and encouraged me to post. Being controversial is inevitable when someone shares an understanding that doesn't conform to the status quo. Astrologers were the first heretics. In this forum, a few chronic control-freaks would like to renew that status. I would not even rule out a preference for "witch" burning in a few of the Neanderthals who hide their primitive responses behind a sometimes well-honed intellect. Lots of serial killers have developed minds and dead hearts & souls, too.
Interesting that I don't recall you pointing out the way the tag team trolls endlessly pat each other on the back when they dominate the threads.
Some males are very uncomfortable around women who speak with power. Holding authority in my field does not qualify as being "superior" or a "know it all." If you've read my posts over the course of the last two years, you'd note that I am quite open to learning from others... those that are experts (or well-informed) in their elected fields of interest. Generic opinions, or persons who viciously attack me do not merit (or deserve) respect.
And for the record, the majority of my posts do not reference astrology. Nonetheless when someone wants to attack me, they pull this aspect of my background out whether or not it applies to the current thread.
And finally, it is not "astrologist." The term is astrologer. You appear to be someone who's uncomfortable with persons who exude Light. Perhaps a Vampire Site might be a better place for YOU to post.
You spelled it out quite well. You've boasted about your power and authority. And you've been to exotic places. This forum could be for some useful purpose rather than an exhibition of egotism and profit seeking. I will drop my criticism of your group as you are obviously not going away but I would like to point out that if one googles Sioux Rose they will find you selling your services and books - - quite a cheap way to make a buck - - and you look a little pale for an American Indian. Now let us return to the show.
Indeed
EKZILE: It is not a cheap way to make a buck, you fool. I am a college graduate and licensed teacher. I have spent over thirty years in SINCERE research of esoteric subjects. I have spent MY savings to self-publish the books that orthodox publishers will not touch. Why? I don't sell easy recipes. And in today's culture, deep spiritual Truth is neither popular nor convenient.
One thing I realize is that those who have never entertained the true ethos of service, or resonated with the ideal of altruism... are totally incapable of understanding what motivates me. I take it as a HIGH calling.
As I told 2 other people who accused me of "pushing my wares" (when I never promote my website, although my detractors see fit to take elements from it out of context without my permission) that since I have a work history (since l988) of being paid anywhere from $300-2000 PER column, I have spent (as in donated) many thousands of unpaid dollars in this forum. I have given of my understanding to help expand others' thought processes. That is the mark of a true teacher, and it IS a calling. And the amazing thing about this kind of generosity is that I have not had to work a regular job since l982. Always my needs got met. I do not need to make any money from selling books or providing astrological analyses. I was gifted with an inheritance 3 years ago. So my motive is not now, nor has it ever been about money. It is about getting messages out that have been silenced, on threat of death, for centuries. I believe that some are born ahead of their time to SEED the future's ideologies.
I don't recall your criticizing your buddy (?) Jennifer Bedington for having gone to Europe, and relating her experiences back in this forum. Or how about Max Payne who recently went to India? Your hate campaign is targeted at me... or anyone who doesn't toe the line of the authoritarian world-view you seem to feel entitled to demand of others. YOU have real problems... but it's not my job to fix you, or waste time seeking to enlighten one who closes his eyes and holds his ears shut... while screaming that others shut up.
Funny how the attack squad seeks to discredit me. If I publish my credentials, they use that to say I am grandstanding, and if I don't, they believe their allegations stand. It's very tiring dealing with WITCH HUNTS on this site! And yes, there IS a tag team here, and one or more of its members always shows up when the topic has anything to do with militarism, women's rights, or criticism of the president/status quo. Uniformed fools... you think you're fooling intelligent people on this site, hardly. Nor do you gain any credibility by attacking me. Anyone who is comfortable in their own belief system has no need to attack others.
Have a pleasant evening.
Don't let them get to you Sioux Rose. Some fellas just feel emasculated when the female is obviously brighter then they are. ;)
Good post GWNorth.
I don't understand why people are so upset about Sioux Rose's posts. First of all, she really doesn't talk about astrology that much. And so what? Why on earth would people care? I find it refreshing as a break from the dry, uncreative analysis that goes nowhere and doesn't spark any passion or change in thinking. She actually BRINGS something to the dialogue.
And if you don't like it, why not walk on by? There are quite a few who pour venom and offend my sensibilities on these posts. Instead of working out their frustrations as responsible adults, on their own time, and then commenting in clear ways that may add something new to the discourse, they spew their hatred and feelings of powerlessness. Anyone can bash what is so obviously horrific in our world. Who does this help? How does this enlighten and transform our world? Or even one human being, for that matter. It is like swimming in a toxic pool.
And if it offends people more , to see people appreciate each other, than it does to read posts that offer nothing except hatred and vitriol, then i suppose we are all quite different human beings, aren't we? And guess what. The very sociological/political realities that people rail against on CD........How surprising. It plays out right here......
I have read posts to articles that made me feel violated, quite frankly. So i skip them. Obscenity takes many forms. So does violence. And i've seen it all on these posts over the past few years.
Enough said.
peace.
"Instead of working out their frustrations as responsible adults, on their own time, and then commenting in clear ways that may add something new to the discourse, they spew their hatred and feelings of powerlessness. "
Everybody does it here so what's your point? If you like someone very much, you'll have selective judgment. Nobody's perfect. Did you expect a perfect world? To each their own biases.
"No, only a select few act like spoiled brats that imagine everyone else is like themselves."
Your opinion man. You have your mind made up about spoiled brats and I have mine. Let's just agree to disagree.
"Many people have now come to Sioux' defense, but even here you continue an indirect attack, as if you're proud of your imperfections, biases and judgments."
Big deal. Doesn't make her perfect. I may be one of them imperfectos and yeah I gots me own biases and judgments just like you, Rose, everyone else but I'm honest and proud of it. Ya'll still beggin for perfection you'll never get.
"How very non-progressive and childish."
Oh thats really funny man. Worshiping Sioux Rose is "progressive" ? You kooks are getting funnier wackier by the posts, LOL !
"Your oblivious bias " blah blah blah ... You got yours too. I never had any grudge about her imperfections but ya'll wanna be perfect and dishonest. Fuggeda bout it. LOL !
"That's explicitly a sexual bias and completely bogus and uncalled for, particularly in polite company committed to progressively dreaming in common."
Oh that's just funny. Sioux Rose is just one woman. You implying that every woman is Sioux Rose? LOL ! Then why don't you tell her to run for president?
"More ego more pride -- and " pride comes before the fall " -- for both you and me ( and Sioux )."
Let's agree on that and leave it there, kay?
Tell ya what. Get Rose and you to run for president and stop the Afghan war.
Well said, Sioux Rose!
Wow, Siouxrose,
Great Wordsmithing! i'd say that should put the redneck trolls underground for a while. I for one have never seen you "hawk" anything on this site. So that particular "Troll-Charge" was a lie. But now maybe you should put your site address at the bottom of your posts, since they have already belted out that unfair bile.
I certainly wouldn't mind.
Your writing is so seductive, and intoxicating, I'm asking you to stay and post more. I can't for the life of me understand why two regulars chatting pleasantly to each other would be so objectionable. Civilized people wouldn't object imho.
TJ
A Cherokee woman that was a friend of mine in Seattle was very light skinned. Don't know how politely she'd take being called an American or an Indian? She worked as a bartender in a Bar and Grill in Seattle. Her European slave masters had her dressed up in a real tight blouse and short skirt to sell their alcohol. Her European slave master has the art of sales down really well.
Now if you have the money I can take you around to some Rez's where you can meet American Indians. I don't know how politely they will take being called an American or an Indian? But I can take you around. Since there is the invention called the Net I can even let them know we're coming. I don't know what you would gain at all by going to any of the Rez's I could take you too, but I know what I would gain by meeting you live and in person. Absolutely nothing at all. That's what I would gain by meeting you live and in person. Absolutely nothing at all.
But if you would like to travel around to some Rez's and have the money these things can be arranged. Maybe the people on the Rez's would think it just some real big thrill you visited them on the Rez? And maybe not?
Life is good. What an experience! It's always best to forgive.
Is it only me who is getting tired of your schmuck remarks, Shadow Dancer?
Listen up you boring old oaf: You probably think that you can exclude yourself from responsibility for this society because society has excluded you. May that be however it is, it’s not that easy, pal. Take a good long hard look at yourself (and your useless and unconstructive missives here) and you hopefully realize that your pathetic stand is totally a waste of time. YOU are as much part of the problem as the society you so scornfully berate here.
Get you’re a .. into gear and stop wincing.
Hope your life is good. It can’t be much of an experience (judging by your whine). But I forgive you.
He must be a computer posting on this site, snark snark !
words, words, WORDS. Was this article supposed to degenerate into a forum for our personal egos?
