LA Can Lead the Country on 100 Percent Clean Energy

New study charts pathway for Los Angeles’s electrical grid to reach 100 percent renewable energy by 2030

Los Angeles - Today, Synapse Energy Economics and Food & Water Watch will release a groundbreaking study showing the Los Angeles Department of Power and Water (LADWP) can achieve 100 percent clean, renewable energy by 2030. The study shows that energy efficiency, increased storage and smart management of the grid will be the keys to achieving this transition.

A co-author of Clean Energy for Los Angeles from Synapse Energy Economics, along with Food & Water Watch staff, will hold a press call to discuss the study and answer questions.
