Mexico Drug Plane Used For US 'Rendition' Flights: Report
MEXICO CITY - A private jet that crash-landed almost one year ago in eastern Mexico carrying 3.3 tons of cocaine had previously been used for CIA "rendition" flights, a newspaper report said here Thursday, citing documents from the United States and the European Parliament.
The plane was carrying Colombian drugs for the fugitive leader of Mexico's Sinaloa cartel, Joaquin "Chapo" Guzman, when it crash-landed in the Yucatan peninsula on September 24, El Universal reported.
The daily said it had obtained documents from the United States and the European Parliament which "show that that plane flew several times to Guantanamo, Cuba, presumably to transfer terrorism suspects."
It said the European Parliament was investigating the private Grumman Gulfstream II, registered by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation, for suspected use in CIA "rendition" flights in which prisoners are covertly transferred to a third country or US-run detention centers.
It also said the US Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) logbook registered that the plane had traveled between US territory and the US military base in Guantanamo.
It said the FAA registered its last owner as Clyde O'Connor in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Extraordinary rendition has been harshly criticized since it began in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States

For crying out loud, doesn't anybody remember Air America? The CIA owned airline that flew supplies into and drugs out of the Golden Triangle during Viet Nam? During the Iran-Contra era, the same thing was going on. Our kids got heroin and coke courtesy of the CIA, to finance covert operations and arms purchases. If you doubt that, look into the SF Chronicle.
A ship tied up to a pier in SF and the SF Narc squad covered it like a blanket. Divers in the water, the vessel surrounded. It was full of drugs. A man appeared at the gangway and demanded to see the officer in charge. he showed CIA credentials, said this was a government operation and to back off. They did and the ship was unloaded and its cargo taken away, to no doubt appear on the streets of SF and LA and points East, to enrich the coffers of the secret government.
So when Maxine Waters and other African-American leaders accused the CIA of promoting the drug trade as a source of off-budget easily launderable money for black operations they were called simpletons, fools, conspiracy nuts etc.
The same was said for those who pointed out the strange contraband flowing through the Mena Arkansas Airport while alleged coke head Governor Bill Clintonh was Governor of the state. So maybe these paranoiud nut-cases were not too far from the truth after all.

Back in the Late 80's -early 90's the police in Mena, Arkansas arrested a known drug runner pilot who turned out to be tied to the CIA. For his one phone call, he dialed the number from memory and handed the phone over to the Sheriff.
The voice on the other end was then VP G.H.W. Bush, one time director of the CIA, in his office.
The pilot was soon released without charge.
The only witnesses to the activities of the pilot were some teenage boys, who were found cut to pieces on a local rail track, their hands and feet bound with wire, soon after the pilot had been released.
This all documented in the book 'The Boys on the Tracks'.
Parenthetically, I wonder if anyone besides Agence France Presse (by which I mean any American mainstream wire of other news service) reported this development and its connection to the CIA.

Back around the time of the Ellsberg Papers, an acquaintance who was an investigative reporter for a SF newspaper and an ex-FBI man, in answer to my question said, "No, we are not censured. However, it doesn't take long to realize what is going to be published and what is going into the circular file. You don't write for the circular file, you write what will be published."

Hostages, money and drugs - the Neo Triangle trade.
Finally, the CIA is being efficient and back hauling terrorists for rendition on their regular drug flights and all you commie, pinko, liberal, hate America types are complaining!
Except the person being renditioned to some Third World hellhole CIA black facility is just some poor schmuck black-bagged off the street more often than not. Just ask Canadian Maher Arar...

NarcoNews has more info on this here, http://narcosphere.narconews.com/node/2142
Too bad Bill Conroy isn't getting the recognition he deserves on this story! It would have died a year ago without Conroy and NarcoNews.

Funny how the biggest drug dealer on the planet is also behind the "War on Drugs." Maybe it should be renamed the "War of Drugs." At least that would be consistent with the "War of Terror."

Nothing has really changed. CIA in bed with the drug cartels for decades. Nothing changes .. only now its normalized. Its accepted as normal behavior and no one gives a shit. No more outrage !
CIA has been inside organized crime, from the mafia to the so-called terrorists, ever since they took over from the OSS.
Walk in peace.
'Disappeared' , I'm sorry, 'renditioned' prisoners down, cocaine back.
