But the other three provide important testimonies as well, and while greatly appreciating them all, there's something about the testimony provided by Phil Roettinger that I like; his manner, seeming to have some sane sense of humour, the interview evidently took place in his home, and he's standing by a window overlooking Nature while holding a paint brush and standing before a paint board, or whatever they're called.

Anyway, these are both excellent and important documentaries.

If there's a longer copy, then I'd like to view it, but it's difficult to find, if it does exist on the Web).

Or maybe the durations given for the clips from TheNewPatriot are off? NO! I DON"T KNOW if it's right to generalise that way about the Nazis, for they were bad alright, but they weren't all of one, single mind. Wade Frazier provides some very good historical information on the Nazi forces. He has a number of essays, extensive too, but three I'll specifically refer to are "The Business of War", "American Empire", and "Lies I Was Raised With", at his website, which is www.ahealedplanet.net .

The Nazi forces were bad, but U.S. and Israeli forces, as well as the forces of some other European countries certainly aren't better. Consider, f.e., what happened in the DR Congo, with the assassination of the [excellent] former PM Patrice Lumumba and what's been going on there, what's been done to and continues to be done to the Congelese population today, ongoingly; major genocide!

I don't see how anyone who's [informed] could think that Israel and U.S. forces, as well as British forces, are better, and I often wonder if Israeli military, when following orders, that is, isn't worse. Like Wade Frazier says, the Nazis were sometimes more humane than the soldiers of the U.S. and European countries taking part in WWII. And the U.S. and Britain definitely committed serious war crimes during that war. The real question is whether the American and Israeli publics now begin to understand the inaction of those WWII-era German civilians who witnessed the camp construction, saw the trains go by, smelled the burning protein and still steadfastly maintained their ignorant innocence.

If we can get away with such crimes Iraq so can the Israelis in Gaza. Even if investigations confirm what the rest of the world already knows about the Gaza war crimes ... so what! Nobody can dare indict or arrest them. Only war criminals from weaker states are indicted.

So, Israel is going to investigate? What a laugh that is! Same deal as when the Bush White House used to investigate themselves! What's needed is an independent intenational investigation-and nothing less will do! Anything else won't pass the stink test!

If there is a differnce between the actions described in the article and NAZI atrocities before and during WWII then I wish that someone would explain what that difference is . . . in detail.

The worst atrocity of all - and the one that should have Jews everywhere screaming in protest - is the behavior of the "military rabbis" (not sure what that means) in trying to make this offensive a holy war.
