Win Without War Statement on Extension of Nuclear Talks with Iran

The Win Without War coalition released the following statement by Advocacy Director, Stephen Miles, in response to the announcement of an extension in nuclear negotiations between Iran, the United States, and the other members of the P5+1.
"All Americans should welcome today's announcement that negotiations with Iran are going into overtime. While our diplomats will continue the hard work of resolving one of America's toughest national security challenges, the Iranian nuclear program will remain frozen and under a microscope thanks to the continued presence of international inspectors.
We remember all too tragically the consequences of failing to let diplomacy work twelve years ago in Iraq. Many of the same individuals and organizations who misled our nation into that disastrous war continue to push for steps that would derail these delicate negotiations. They were wrong then and they're wrong now.
In the coming days and weeks, Members of Congress need to decide which side of history they want to be on. Do they support letting diplomacy work or will they put our nation back on the path towards a war with Iran.
