While the words reverberate through the halls of the United Nations, children are still killed in front of their families, mass funerals remain part of Gaza’s daily rhythm.
The administration’s agenda for the last two years is built around the concept of less access to life. It has committed billions of taxpayer dollars to this mission.
Standing alone, neither the expanded SAVE program nor the citizenship lists may be capable of changing the outcome of the midterms. But they do not stand alone.
"I stand here with fierce determination to do what is right for my sister, for her children, and for our country—and that is to insist on accountability," her brother said.
What’s different now compared to past crises is that many bold progressive leaders have won competitive primaries in this year’s midterms—often putting opposition to war and genocide at the center of their messaging.
"Everyone, no matter who they are, where they live, how much money they make, or how they get their insurance, deserves access to abortion care without barriers."
