Jasmin Sanchez

Jasmin Sanchez, an Afro-Borica and daughter of public housing, knows firsthand the struggles of growing up in NYC Housing Authority. For decades, she has organized around tenant rights, climate resilient neighborhoods, and education. Before running for Assembly office, Jasmin led and founded an after-school program in the Lower East Side public schools.
