The new paper shows that the climate and biodiversity crises "need to be tackled in a joined-up way by central banks and supervisors to build a nature-positive financial system."

"I can't imagine getting a request to illegally overthrow the lawful United States government and hiding it, let alone continuing to publicly support the person who made it," said Rep. Don Beyer in response to the statement by the Alabama Republican.

"Today's nuclear weapons are so incredibly large and dangerous that we have a really distorted idea of what a small nuclear weapon is."

The waters "are responsible for the future and fate of this blue planet, Earth," said one campaigner.

"Our universities must be climate leaders, not climate laggards," said one climate scientist.
