Barbara Nimri Aziz

Barbara Nimri Aziz is an American anthropologist and journalist. She is the co-founder and executive director of RAWI (Radius of Arab-American Writers, a network of writers of Arab descent). Since 1989, she has been featuring Arab writers from across the USA and abroad on her weekly program TAHRIR. Her writings have appeared in several newspapers, magazines and anthologies. She has managed to break through several fields that has been dominated by males for years thus making a drastic change in the status of Arab Women in the Arab region and all over the world.
