Congressional Leaders Stand With Small Business Owners at a "Pledge for the Climate" Press Conference

Amid calls to expand offshore drilling that
would deepen America's dependence on fossil fuels and exacerbate the
global warming crisis, Representatives Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Yvette
Clarke of New York, and Raul Grijalva of Arizona will call for real
solutions to global warming at a press conference on Tuesday, September
9, 2008. The representatives, members of the House Committee on Small
Business, will join two business owners representing 3,300 small
businesses nationwide that are petitioning Congress to enact
science-based solutions to the global warming crisis that reduce the
country's dependence on oil, create jobs, and leave a clean environment
for our children.

Rep. Yvette Clarke (11th Dist., New York)

Rep. Raul Grijalva (7th Dist., Arizona)
