Just a Friday reminder that there is nothing normal—or comforting—about the current president
There was nothing comforting, and plenty that was frightening, when President Donald Trump on Friday publicly announced that Puerto Rico--suffering a humanitarian disaster of unprecedented proportions--was, in fact, an island surrounded by the ocean.
"This is an island," Trump said. "Surrounded by water. Big water, ocean water."

We are at a crossroads
This country and this world are at a monumental crossroads. People know when they're being lied to, but you won't hear any of this from the corporate media.
