Sam Nester

  • Sam Nester is an Australian Fulbright Scholar and lecturer of Music History at the Manhattan School of Music. He serves on trumpet faculty at The Juilliard School's Music Advancement Program. He has designed site-specific environmental sound and light installations for George Mason University, EcoArt Project, and Colby College. Nester has been the artist-in-residence for Bruny Island (Australia) and Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park, and his writing appears in Curator magazine.
