Single-Payer Advocates to Meet with Sens. Sanders and Baucus
WASHINGTON - Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and supporters of a single-payer
health care system will hold a press conference at noon on Wednesday, June 3,
after meeting with Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.). Sanders
is the sponsor of the Senate’s only single-payer health care bill.
