Progressive Democrats to Party with Raul Grijalva

WASHINGTON - The Tucson chapter of Progressive Democrats of America is organizing a
kick-off party followed by a morning rally for Congressional
Progressive Caucus Co-Chair Raul Grijalva on Friday and Saturday,
October 22nd and 23rd.

“The state of Arizona has not always had the
respect of progressive Americans around the country during the past
year, but Arizonans’ support for Raul Grijalva earns everyone’s
admiration and applause,” said Tim Carpenter, national director of PDA.

PDA TUCSON KICK-OFF PARTY:

Special guests and speakers will include
Congressman Grijalva; PDA Healthcare NOT Warfare Co-Chair Norman
Solomon, a journalist and author of War Made Easy and Made Love, Got War;
PDA Advisory Board Chair Mimi Kennedy, an author, actress (In the Loop,
Dharma and Greg) and long time activist; and 
PDA National Director Tim
Carpenter.
