Experts Release New Polling on Immigration in Moderate-Conservative States

Conventional Wisdom is Dead: Democrats Win by Leaning Toward, not Away From, Immigration Reform

WASHINGTON

On Monday, May 10th,
Frank Sharry, Executive Director of America's Voice, will join Guy
Molyneux of Hart Research Associates to release a new poll that dispels
the notion that political leaders from moderate to conservative states
should steer clear of the immigration debate. The poll of 1,608
voters, conducted in four states - Arkansas, Missouri, Ohio and
Colorado - tested voters' opinions on comprehensive immigration reform
amidst very harsh attacks from opponents.

The
new poll finds that addressing immigration head on and advocating for a
comprehensive solution is preferred by voters and that confidence in
Democrats grows dramatically following a tough debate on the issue.

The press call will outline the findings of the telephone survey, conducted over a five day period in April.
