RESIST DAY #84: What You Can Do Today

Resistance in your community, across the country, and around the globe

Thursday, April 13, 2017

  • Turn Up the Heat on Members of Congress During a Second Round of Resistance Recess
  • #FastforYemen
U.S. lawmakers are trying to get the Trump administration to pump the brakes on expanding U.S. military involvement in Yemen--even as the country faces widespread famine--CodePink is holding a week-long #FastingforYemen awareness event.

    • Attend a vigil or action near you. Women's March organizers and supporters to invite their local communities on Thursday, April 13, at 6pm local time to rallies across the country. Bring candles and signs.
    • Share your events on social media using the hashtag #WomenForSyria.

    • Leave a comment on the public docket.
    • If you are in the Washington, D.C. area, attend a public hearing on the regulation reform at EPA headquarters on April 25.
