Dr. Thomas Soehl

Dr. Thomas Soehl is an Assistant Professor at McGill University, and serves as the University’s Canada Research Chair In International Migration. His research focuses on the importance of family ties for migrants and the inter-generational transmission of culture, socio-economic characteristics and political attachments in migrant families, and the multiple and shifting socio-political attachments of migrants.
