Dr. Roger Waldinger

Dr. Roger Waldinger is a Distinguished Professor of Sociology at UCLA . Waldinger has previously served as Interim Associate Vice-Provost for International Studies, Chair of the Department of Sociology, and Director of the Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies at UCLA. His research focuses on international migration: its social, political, and economic consequences; the policies and politics emerging in response to its advent; the links between immigrants and the countries and people they have left behind.
