Michael V. McGill was the long-time superintendent of the Scarsdale school district in New York, one of the most successful in the country and now a professor of school leadership at Bank Street College of Education. His forthcoming book is, "Race to the Bottom: Corporate Reform and the Future of Public Education" (Teachers College Press, April 2015).
