Hillary Mann Leverett is senior professorial lecturer at American University. She writes, along with Flynt Leverett, the Race for Iran blog. Their book, Going to Tehran: Why the United States Needs to Come to Terms With the Islamic Republic of Iran (Metropolitan Books), will be published in January 2013.
