Fadi Abu Shammalah, from Gaza, has contributed writing and reporting to the New York Times, Al Jazeera America, the Nation, and Yes! Magazine. He is the co-producer of Just Vision’s film, Naila and the Uprising. He is the executive director of General Union of Cultural Centers and has worked as an interpreter, fixer, and producer for many international institutions and news agencies.
