Deborah L. Williams

  • Deborah Williams has been deeply involved in public land and environmental issues for over four decades, including as an Attorney for the National Park Service and US Fish and Wildlife Service; the Special Assistant to the Secretary of Interior for Alaska (a Presidential Appointee); the Executive Director of the Alaska Conservation Foundation; and Co-Founder of the Harvard Environmental Law Review. Currently, she is a University of California Faculty Member in the Environmental Studies Department at UCSB, while also continuing to publish articles, engage in advocacy, and consult on national, state, and local public lands issues.
