Republican Voters in West Allis, Wisconsin Move to Amend
Last night West Allis, Wisconsin , a conservative Milwaukee suburb, voted overwhelmingly to reject the Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United v. FEC ruling. Republican Party primary voters approved a resolution calling for an amendment to the US Constitution to establish that corporations are not people and money is not speech by 70%, becoming the most recent community to vote to support the Move to Amend campaign.

Los Angeles Poised to Be the First Major U.S. City to Call for End to Corporate Personhood
Next week the Los Angeles City Council will vote on a resolution that calls on Congress to amend the Constitution to clearly establish that only living persons -- not corporations -- are endowed with constitutional rights and that money is not the same as free speech. If this resolution is passed, Los Angeles will be the first major city in the U.S. to call for an end to all corporate constitutional rights.

Boulder, Colorado Occupies the Ballot Box and Calls for End to “Corporate Personhood”
Last night Boulder became the second city in the nation to pass a ballot measure calling for an amendment to the US Constitution that would state that corporations are not people and the legal status of money as free speech. At midnight, with 93% of the ballots counted, the measure was handily winning with 74% of voters in support.
