Coalition of Interfaith and Civic Leaders Expressed Outrage at Beck's Attempt to Usurp Martin Luther King Jr.'s Civil Rights Legacy

LOS ANGELES - Religious leaders today unveiled "Glenn Beck Is No Martin Luther King,
Jr." a new online short from Brave New Foundation to express outrage
over Glenn Beck's 'Restore Honor' rally and his attempt to usurp the

Reverend William D. Smart of Clergy and Laity United for Economic

Steven B. Jacobs, Founder, Progressive Faith Foundation.

A number of Coalition Partners, including Celebrate the Dream,
Campaign for America's Future, True Majority, Progress Now and AlterNet
also expressed their solidarity, joining the participants in declaring

"I marched with Martin Luther King, Jr. against the war in Vietnam.
If there is anyone in the world who wanted to overcome differences and
