Brave New Films Stands Alongside ACORN Against Extending the Defund ACORN Act

Brave New Films Launches Effort to Fight Back Against Conservative Witch Hunts on Organizations Singled Out for Their Work with Poor Communities

CULVER CITY, Calif. - Brave New Films is pushing to get Congress to vote against extending the Defund ACORN Act.  The House is expected to take up this vote sometime this week, with the Senate to follow in the upcoming month.  Extending
the Defund ACORN Act would essentially deprive ACORN of most of the
funding currently used on voting rights, housing, minimum wage reform,
and unemployment.
