The farewell to civil rights icon John Lewis by "a stick-swinging, Old-Testament Obama" was a rousing call to action and tribute to "the ways ordinary people can change the world...America was built by John Lewises.” More soul-stirring yet was Lewis' own grace-filled farewell to us all, and especially young people: "Though I may not be here with you, I urge you to answer the highest calling of your heart and stand up for what you truly believe. Now it is your turn to let freedom ring."
