Aww Look: Nazis Getting Married

Reince Priebus posted a wedding pic. Twitter fixed it.

So cute: On Sunday, Stephen "Goebbels" Miller, who has created the uber-cruel immigration policies that pointlessly rip brown children from their parents, and Katie Waldman, who has called migrant women being teargassed "a violent mob," became "partners in crimes against humanity" and got married - at a Trump hotel, natch. Before getting hitched to the devil's spawn, the lovely bride attended the University of Florida, where she became famous for destroying hundreds of copies of the school newspaper during a student government election after it endorsed her opponent. She went on to work for Kirstjen Nielsen, vociferously defending family separations; she now works for Mike Pence doing whatever evil is required in that job. On the day of the wedding, she called Miller "the perfect man," drawing a collective "ewww" from a horrified nation. While the nuptials drew a festive crowd of GOPers you'd kill to avoid hanging out with - Kushner, Mnuchin, Sarah Sanders, Mick Mulvaney - some reportedly, privately worry that Waldman, while she seems nice, doesn't look quite master-racey enough. Others hope Waldman will become "our own Magda Goebels," who near the end of World War Two famously killed her six children because she "didn't want to live in a world without Hitler."

The wedding featured Elvis back from the grave, and Trump, ever-gracious, "joking" it interrupted his "President's" Day. Meanwhile, social media responded with revulsion at the idea the reptilian pair might procreate -"Please don't breed" - and many questions: "Was the white supremacist cake all white? Did they register at a cage manufacturer? Should we call her Magda or Eva? Will their children have hooves or tails? Have they picked out a cage for the baby's room?" Others took action. Miller's uncle David Glosser, who has expressed his "dismay and increasing horror" at his nephew's politics, honored the event by seeking contributions to HIAS, the Jewish refugee organization that helped their family emigrate in 1906. Full Frontal's Samantha Bee similarly offered the parody website "A Match Made In Hate." It includes a history of the match - "We met during a rare moment – a White House press briefing...Since that day, unlike migrant families at the border, we became inseparable" - and a defiant registry seeking wishlist items for non-profits that help asylum seekers and immigrants "whose rights are receding faster than Stephen’s hairline." There are also quotes from well-wishers, including God: "I object." No word on honeymoon plans, but the happy couple, who are totally not fascists, hope to soon cage children of their own.

Role model Joseph Goebbels.

Elvis looked like he wasn't sure it was worth the trip back for a white nationalist gig.
