Happy Father's Day to DJ Pryor and his 19-month-old son, Kingston, who just basically broke the Internet with a home video of the two happily, thoughtfully chatting about the season finale of "Empire." Pryor, a Tennessee comedian and aspiring actor, had just finished watching the show when his younger son joined him on the couch for a post-game wrap-up. Pryor was ambivalent about the ending. Kingston was...ummm...possibly, babblingly in agreement, though it's hard to tell 'cause he can't talk yet. No matter: They had a fine time bonding anyway. After the video, filmed by Pryor's wife Shanieke, went viral, Pryor thanked viewers and offered "a salute to all the active fathers...especially us black fathers, who get a bad rep in the media a lot of the time." "FATHERS," wrote Pryor, who also does anti-bullying work, "WE ARE VERY RELEVANT TO THE NARRATIVE OF SOCIETY'S PROGRESSION!" He also thanked Kingston for "his thoughts and concerns" on the season finale even if he has no clue what they are. Pure sweet joy. Kudos to Pryor and all the other dads simply present and listening, sometimes all it takes.
