To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the "Wildlife Photographer of the Year" competition, co-sponsored by London’s Natural History Museum and the BBC, the judges have opened up the voting to the public in a new “People’s Choice Award” category, featuring 50 photos chosen from 41,000 contenders.
