Publishers To Texas Wingnuts: Actually, Um, No, God Didn't Make the World In Six Days

Remarkably, tentatively good news from Texas' textbook wars: Despite pressure from creationists who argued that "creation science (sic) based on Biblical principles" be taught alongside evolution, publishers seem to be rejecting those calls and standing up for science in newly released reports from the Texas Education Agency. The State Board of Education will vote next month on which science textbooks will be used in classrooms for the next decade; help them vote here.
