Smirking GOP Reps Say Ha Ha Too Bad About That Shutdown But Thank God We Still Have Our $175,000 Paycheck

Idiots On Parade: If you can stand it, watch two slimy GOP representatives - Tennessee's Marsha Blackburn and California's Dana Rohrabacher - try hard to dodge a simple vital question from CNN host Ashleigh Banfield on just who will and will not suffer from the looming and utterly pointless government shutdown. Hint: not them. Because they're deemed "essential." No, really. With a handy, appalling list from ThinkProgress of 21 things the Republicans have demanded - Yay Keystone, drilling, coal, Bush tax cuts, nay food stamps, health care, birth control - in exchange for not trashing the government, such as it is. If you ever needed proof the system is broken....

Update: Even with a shutdown, legislators are still fundraising. Unreal.

We know things are bad. We know it's worth the fight.
