In the wake of UK officials detaining Greenwald's partner David Miranda, an incredible account by The Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger of a recent encounter with government officials who demanded the paper surrender or destroy all their material on Edward Snowden, or face a shutdown via the kind of prior restraint that's not supposed to happen in a democracy. What he was told: "You've had your fun. Now we want the stuff back."
