They Went There

Here's a cartoon, run by at least two conservatives papers, meant to question Rev. Al Sharpton's outrage at the Zimmerman verdict and his involvement with several other controversial, racially-charged cases. Most stunningly, the images provoked only minimal outrage from a few suspects at the other end of the political spectrum. Which evidently means it's okay to lampoon lynching in the name of making an at least implicitly racist political argument. We really are two countries.

Another one. They really seem to like this metaphor.
