The Final American Revolution: Defending the Right of Idiots To Load Shotguns in Public and Kids To Bear Gun-Shaped Partly-Eaten Pop Tarts

Good news: While your privacy rights may be at risk, brave souls are hard at work to protect your guns. Texas congressman Steve Stockman has introduced the Student Protection Act to block federal funds from going to schools that prohibit kids from playing with imaginary weapons, arguing that "government-sanctioned political correctness is traumatizing children and spreading irrational fear.” His move comes just as libertarian gun-rights activist - and, just to make things interesting, anti-war Iraq veteran - Adam Kokesh was arrested after making a video in which he carries and loads a shotgun in D.C.'s Freedom Plaza while decrying "tyranny", aka gun laws that say he can't. Kokesh, who had planned a Million Armed Wackos March for July 4 but decided to go it alone - in a video riotously titled “Open Carry March on DC a Success” - was arrested at his home on firearm and drug charges, because nothing goes better than guns and shrooms. On his AdamvstheMan website, he charged that police "storm troopers" showing "a volatile desire to initiate aggressive  forceful conduct" staged an "armed invasion" complete with flash bang grenades, armored vehicles, helicopters and assault rifles. So Kokesh vs. Cops on Steroids: tough choice.

"We are... (click as a shotgun shell goes in) the final... (click) American... (click) Revolution... (aim)." - Kokesh in his video.
