Surreal Juxtaposition of the Day: Rosa and Scalia

So this: Even as a drunk-on-power Justice Antonin Scalia led his conservative cohorts in trying to gut a key provision of the Voting Rights Act by labeling it a “perpetuation of racial entitlement,” Obama and Congressional leaders unveiled a statue of civil rights icon Rosa Parks across town in the Capitol - a location that bears its own multiple ironies. The law was challenged by an Alabama county that argued "the problem to which the Voting Rights Act was addressed is solved.” Many disagree.
