Handcuffing Democracy: Jill Stein Sues Presidential Debate Commission
Having been arrested and chained to a chair for nine hours during last week's presidential debate, Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein is suing the Debate Commission and both major parties for excluding Third Party candidates from their "closed-door masterpiece." Her running mate Cheri Honkala describes her hardscrabble journey from homeless mom to housing activist to Stein's fellow-detainee. Stein's lawsuit asks that future debates seek one goal: "to educate the citizens of the U.S. so that they may knowingly and intelligently choose the presidential candidate of their choice from each and every eligible candidate."

We (Heart) Horses, Drones, Teachers, Israel, Mali and Targeted Killings
Ugh. From Mittens' insightful analysis last night we now know tumult is everywhere, Pakistan is important, Syria is Iran's route to the sea, we have never dictated to the world and he wants to get bad guys. Talk about genocide by rhetoric. We learned Obama knows more but wants to get bad guys too, preferably by robots from the sky. Missing: Climate change, kill lists, Palestinians, Europe, Africa, hunger and (focused) female moderators. We thank Charles Pierce for his pithy outrage. Also Rachel Maddow for her heartfelt horror at the potential cost of Romney's "soulless shape-shifting" on Afghanistan. Obviously, horses and bayonets are ubiquitous online.
