The pro-choice PAC EMILY's List has launched the Impact Project to remind us that women legislators have played a critical role in passing or opposing (cue the Republican-led "Let Women Die Act") key pieces of legislation - on issues ranging from health care to food safety to minimum wage - that would have made our lives even worse. With charts showing that since the early 1960s, women have given us the most  progressive votes in Congress.
