The Next Step in PlayStation Warfare: Medals for "Valor"

Moving to retain the glamor and popularity of warfare - even if only at a computer screen from thousands of miles away while snacking on pretzels and calling their kills “bug splats” - the military is considering awarding medals for video game-playing....errr, drone operators. More on the singularly Orwellian notion of rewarding this sort of "bravery" here and here.

"We're not just playing video games here." - what drone "pilots" invariably, incessantly, less-than-convincingly insist when asked about what they do.
