Go Coal! (Sort Of)

Evidently unable to find real activists, the coal industry turned to Craigslist to find some slacker astroturfers willing - for 50 bucks and a free lunch - to wear pro-coal t-shirts at last week's EPA hearing on carbon standards for power plants, which of course the industry opposes. The tacky move is part of a similarly tacky $10 million PR campaign featuring forged letters and other questionable lobbying efforts.
