Hoping to "amplify previously unheard voices,” YouTube has launchedHuman Rights Channel in partnership with the non-profit WITNESS and news gatherers Storyful. In making the announcement, YouTube cited its pivotal role in Occupy and the Arab Spring, when 100,000 videos were uploaded from Egypt.
