A judge in California has ruled that two police officers will go to trial on homicide charges in the 2011 death of Kelly Thomas, 37, a homeless schizophrenic man they savagely beat, punched and tasered to death outside a Fullerton bus station for no apparent reason. The D.A. says he may charge at least one more officer. Prosecutors at the hearing showed chilling new video footage. Warning: very graphic, as are photos. Rahm Vs. Morello and Nurses United
The city of Chicago has yanked the permit for a National Nurses United march during the NATO summit after Rage Against the Machine 's Tom Morello joined the line-up. Organizers charged the city is trying to " marginalize" the nurses, who are calling for a Wall Street transaction tax, and Morello insisted, "We won't be silenced." "If Rahm Emanuel is so afraid of my popularity in Chicago maybe I should run against him in the next election. See you in the streets."

Class act Wells Fargo fired 58-year-old, award-winning Yolanda Quesada of Milwaukee because a background check showed she shoplifted in 1972 - when she was 18 and needed clothes for work, and Nixon was president. She was fired from her $33,000-a-year job by the country's leader in foreclosures, which has paid millions in fines for loan fraud and faces further charges for ripping off thousands of struggling homeowners. A spokesman said that under law they have to fire anyone guilty of "dishonesty or breach of trust." Ha ha ha ha.
