Fighting ALEC

Despite a whiny statement about the "intimidation campaign" against them, momentum is gaining in the fight against the shadowy right-wing American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and their Koch Brothers cohorts. Blue Cross Blue Shield has become the 11th company to cut their ties, shareholders in five companies have launched resolutions, to be voted on at annual meetings in May, calling on those ties to be disclosed, and even the New York Times has blasted the "bad laws" that ALEC consistently advocates.
