A Question of Safety: Police Spray Students, Again

Up to 30 people - including the child of a student - were pepper-sprayed by police as students protested a Santa Monica College trustee board meeting over proposed higher course fees. A college spokesman argued "the crowd was getting out of hand" as protesters chanted, "No cuts, no fees, education should be free" as they tried to enter the meeting during a public comment session. Man.
