Arghh! What is wrong with this picture? It shows the panel testifying before a House Committee on the new Obama rules on contraception coverage for employees. Women legislators just walked out because committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) has refused to allow any women, or minorities, to testify because he argues the subject at hand is not women's health care or contraception but "freedom of religion." The title of the hearing is “Lines Crossed: Separation of Church and State. Has the Obama Administration Trampled on Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Conscience?” You have got to be friggin' kidding. Livestream is here, if you can stand it. We can't.

Surreal Updates: Santorum's PAC funder suggests apirin as contraceptive. A new Virginia law mandates state-sponsored rape of anyone seeking an abortion. Iowa considers a bill outlawing abortion - feticide - with providers facing life in prison. Arghh.
